Canadian Geographic Education and the Canadian Coast Guard are partnering to bring you Adopt A Ship, a unique program all about connecting classrooms to maritime science and careers.

The 2023 program is underway! Classes from Edmonton (Alta.), Halifax (N.S.), St. Hubert (Que.) and Tuktoyaktuk (N.W.T.) have been paired with some amazing Canadian Coast Guard vessels for a 10-week penpal program, complete with live virtual hangouts, classroom activities, and more.

Note: Classes that were not selected this year are invited to follow along using the information and resources listed below and via social media (@CanGeoEdu, #AdoptAShip).
