Adopt a Ship - Event Registration

All Adopt a Ship presentations are free, virtual, and approximately 30 minutes in length.

There will be five live presentations by Canadian Coast Guard staff with diverse backgrounds, skills, and careers, including a presentation by Commissioner Mario Pelletier himself! The presentations are designed primarily for Grades 5-7 and will cover topics such as life at the Canadian Coast Guard College, science and research on board a ship, navigation, radio communication and safety at sea. Students will have an opportunity at the end of each presentation to ask questions.

There are two ways to participate in a live event: as a featured class on camera or off-camera watching via YouTube. If you choose to participate on camera, you will be notified by a staff member of Can Geo Education if your class is selected as a featured class. If you participate off-camera, you will receive a YouTube link to watch the presentation and ask questions in the chat.
