Canadian Geographic Education

Geography matters more than ever

Canadian Geographic Education provides learning resources to help improve students’ understanding of the world they live in. Geographically literate students are better prepared to face global challenges and have the skills necessary to become effective change agents. Use these resources to inspire curiosity and exploration in your classroom!

National Indigenous History Month

June celebrates and recognizes the stories, perspectives, cultures, and voices of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit. In honour of this month, visit the Paths to Reconciliation interactive website, which maps residential schools not recognized in the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement as well as ongoing work to document unmarked burial sites. This site features firsthand accounts, an interactive map, educational resources, and more.
