2023 Summer Conference - Call for presenters

Canadian Geographic Education is hosting its annual virtual summer conference called “Why geography matters: Lessons from our changing planet” on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. This conference will be made available to all educators in Canada and sessions will be offered in English and French.

We have contacted you because you are a friend and/or partner of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and Canadian Geographic Education. We feel that the opportunities/resources you offer to educators aligns well with the theme of this year’s conference.

If you are interested in presenting at our conference, please complete the form below. If you wish to be considered for more than one workshop, please complete this form more than once so we have individual records of each presentation.

Please note: All workshops offered this year will be 1 hour in length and we understand that adjustments to title and session descriptions will be made closer to the conference date. Please complete this to the best of your ability for our reviewing committee.

Important! A submission does not mean confirmation of acceptance of your session. A committee will review all applications and we will send an email confirming or respectfully declining your submission in July/August. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
