All Marine Month events are free, virtual and 30 minutes in length.
The events are designed for Grades 5-12, and will include discussions with industry experts, vidoes, simulations and a Kahoot! game, and some presenters may even call in from the field (e.g., from a port, a shipyard, the deck of a ship or even a helicopter)! Students will have an opportunity at the end of each presentation to ask questions.
There are two ways to participate in an event; live as a featured class on camera, or live and off-camera via YouTube. If you choose to participate on camera, you will be notified by a staff member of Can Geo Education if your class is selected as a featured class.
