Exploring with Jill Heinerth

On Monday, May 16, at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) Can Geo Education is launching a new video series called “Exploring with Jill Heinerth”.  Jill will discuss how she prepares, engages and thrives during her incredible underwater expeditions. We are inviting teachers of grades 3-12 to sign up their classrooms for an interesting discussion about the videos and the process of filming! Fill out the form below for a camera spot to have your students ask questions.

When:

Monday, May 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. (EDT)

Intended audience:

This event is meant for students at the elementary and intermediate level who are in grades 3-12. Classrooms must reside in Canada. While camera spots are reserved for classrooms, we invite people of all ages to tune into the event through our YouTube and Facebook channels.

Event details:

Join Jill Heinerth for a 45-minute presentation about the Exploring with Jill Heinerth video series. Jill will share highlights from the filming and the launch of the Exploring mindset videos. Classrooms with a camera spot will be able to talk with Jill directly and ask questions!

If you would like a camera spot, please complete the form below. There are six camera spots. Can Geo Education will select classrooms for a camera spot by random draw from among those that register. A member of Can Geo Education will contact all selected teachers closer to the event date.

If you don’t get a camera spot, or if you have a classroom learning virtually from home, you and your class can still watch live on YouTube or Facebook and ask questions in the chat!

Please note: This event will be recorded and live-streamed to the public on Can Geo Education’s YouTube and Facebook channels. Please make sure that any students visible on camera have permission to be filmed. This event is English only.
